Everything you need to know before a fight is on this page.
Banned in combat
These are legal at all other times.

The blast is suppressed and placement is restricted, so a crystal cannot be used as a weapon.

The enchantment is removed from enchanting, trading, loot, fishing, and mob drops. There is no way to get one. Fire's Kindle passive is what sets targets alight now.

Removed from every source the same way Fire Aspect is.

Allowed

- Totems of undyingNo limit.
Dying costs a tier and drops a shard, so the price of using one is already paid elsewhere.

The explosion is suppressed, so anchors work as a respawn point and nothing else.

Inventory caps
The caps apply to the main inventory and they are always on. Going over the cap refuses the pickup, and anything already over is swept out.
Combat
Combat tag. The combat tag lasts 45 seconds.
Logging out. Logging out while tagged carries the same penalty as dying.
PvE. PvE damage and PvE deaths do not tag you.
Gear ceiling
Netherite smithing is disabled for Season 2. Diamond with Protection IV is the top of the armour range, and the balance is built against it.
Allies
Players can ally up to 3 others. Allies cannot damage each other.
Bug bounty
Forge SMP runs a large custom plugin, so bugs and exploits will exist. Reporting one is worth more than using it, and qualifying reports are rewarded.
Report privately. Report to staff through the ticket channel in Discord, not in public chat and not to other players.
Do not use it. Using an exploit you found gets you punished rather than rewarded.
First report wins. The first person to report a given issue gets the reward.
Staff decide. Staff decide what counts as a genuine, previously unknown issue.
